Welcome to VCM 2011

Metamaterials Conference Program

The 2011 Villa Conference on Metamaterials (VCM 2011) will take place from April 21st to 25th, 2011 in the Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa, Las Vegas, Nevada, US, concurrently with the following two villa conferences:

Villa Conference on Complex Oxide Heterostructures (VCCOH)

Villa Conference on Interactions Among Nanostructures (VCIAN)

The villa conference series will continue its success of  the 2008 in Orlando Florida, 2009 in St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands, and 2010 in Santorini Greece, by providing an interdisciplinary forum for the open communication in understanding the physical, chemical, and biological interactions among nanoscale components and bridging complex oxide materials research and applications with emphasis on emergent phenomena in thin film, interface, surface, superlattice, nanostructures and heterostructures. The Metamaterials 2011 Villa conference is a new development, in response to growing interests in metamaterials research among participants of the villa conference series.

The Red Rock Resort is located off the strip and offers spectacular views of Red Rock Canyon. A shuttle service is available to the Strip. The second to none friendly and stimulating atmosphere will unite international scientists with common professional interests to share both their knowledge of recent developments as well as their ideas about prospective directions and approaches on metamaterials research.

WELCOME!

General Chair: Zhiming M. Wang, University of Arkansas, USA
